A road trip to Robbinsville, NC

With National Forests, Wilderness areas, two large lakes and Cherokee Tribal lands encompassing most of the county, the population of Graham County remains small at just over 8,000 people.  At the center of it all is the tiny town of Robbinsville, home of a country music hitmaker, a legendary Cherokee chief and a cross cultural vibe fueling interest in this slice of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Bristol State of Mind

With one foot in Tennessee and the other in Virginia you’re not just in Bristol, you are in a special STATE of mind.  Here the music of the mountains made history, chasing outlaws moved to the last great colosseum, and nature’s wide paintbrush created a backdrop of sparkling waters and majestic mountains.  Bristol may be small on the map but it’s BIG when it comes to things to do.
